Privacy Policy

This website and the AI Summit Bulgaria event (Burgas, September 19, 2026) are operated by Encorp Bulgaria Ltd, a company registered in Bulgaria under UIC (ЕИК) 207883658, VAT No. BG207883658, with its registered seat at Simeonovsko Shose 33, Sofia, Bulgaria (“we”, “us”, “the Organiser”).

We are the controller of the personal data described in this Privacy Policy and process it in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the General Data Protection Regulation, “GDPR”) and the Bulgarian Personal Data Protection Act.

• Account & profile: your name, email, phone number, company, role or title, preferred language, and any dietary or accessibility needs and communication preferences you choose to provide.

• Tickets & passes: the name, email, company and role printed on each pass, plus a unique QR ticket code.

• Orders & invoicing: order details and, if you ask for an invoice, billing information such as an individual or company name, VAT number and address.

• Forms: the information you submit when you contact us, subscribe to our newsletter, or apply to sponsor (including company details, contact name, email and phone).

• Technical data: the limited information needed to keep you signed in, remember your choices, secure the site and prevent abuse.

• Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): to create and manage your account, issue and manage invitations and passes, process your order and run the event.

• Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): to issue invoices and keep accounting and tax records.

• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): to load analytics cookies and to send you our newsletter or marketing updates. You can withdraw consent at any time.

• Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): to keep the site secure, prevent fraud and abuse, answer your enquiries, and understand in aggregate how the site is used — always balanced against your rights.

We use a small number of essential cookies to run the site and — only with your consent — analytics cookies. You can accept or choose “Essential only” in the cookie banner, and change your choice at any time. See our Cookie Policy for the full list.

Encorp Bulgaria Ltd does not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract and only as needed:

• Supabase — database, authentication and file storage, hosted in the European Union;

• Vercel — website hosting and content delivery;

• Mailgun (Sinch) — sending transactional and sign-in emails;

• PayPerCut — our payment provider, who processes your payment details directly; we never see or store full card numbers;

• Google (Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager) and HubSpot — loaded only if you accept analytics cookies;

• Plausible Analytics — a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service, loaded only with your consent.

We may also disclose personal data where required by law or to competent authorities, and to our professional advisers where necessary.

We keep your data within the European Union wherever possible; our database, hosting and email providers store it in the EU/EEA.

Some optional analytics providers (Google, HubSpot) may transfer data to the United States. Where they do, the transfer is protected by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, and only happens after you consent to analytics cookies.

We keep account and profile data for as long as you have an account and while it is needed to organise the event.

We keep invoices and accounting records for as long as Bulgarian accounting and tax law requires (generally up to 10 years).

Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Enquiries and applications are kept only as long as needed to handle them and for a reasonable period afterwards.

When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing already carried out).

You can update your profile and delete your account at any time from your portal — deleting your account clears your personal data and anonymises the passes you hold.

If you believe we have mishandled your data, you may lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (Комисия за защита на личните данни), 2 Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov Blvd, Sofia 1592, kzld.bg.

We protect your data with encryption in transit, strict access controls (row-level security on our database) and passwordless login. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to keep your data safe.

The event and this website are intended for professionals and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date shown above marks the latest version; we will communicate material changes to registered users.
